The project focuses on the decentralization of museums through the adaptability of space and program. The main objective of the study is to investigate how museums can create strongerconnections with communities through diverse design and programming. We conducted thoroug research covering various aspects, such as developing a system that facilitates accessibility, community participation, and cooperation with marginalized groups. Throughout the study, the importance of understanding museums as changing and flexible entities, rather than static structures, is emphasized. We will also examine museum centralization, investigating the characteristics that generate it and its implications. It is argued that decentralization should not be limite to physical relocation. Adaptive Transcendence addresses the need to transform museums into more inclusiveinstitutions connected with communities, exploring theadaptability of space and program as strategies to achieve decentralization and create an enriching experience for all.

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona (MACBA) exemplifies the use of a collective exhibition program, acting as a "parasite" structure around the existing museum. This adaptable structure promotes accessibility and visibility, providing a platform for local artists and offering a diverse range of exhibitions and activities. It breaks down traditional museum barriers, fostering inclusion and access for all.

Integrating dialogue and free exhibition spaces at MACBA addresses community needs by fostering accessibility, inclusivity, and active engagement with art, thereby democratizing cultural experiences and strengthening connections between the museum and its surroundings.
