Senior Cohhousing
Housing with built in connections
Supervised by: Maria Charneco Llanos
This project is focused on designing environments that foster human connection and enrich lives. Inspired by the concept of co-housing, the project aims to reimagine spaces where individuals feel valued and engaged.
The approach prioritizes interaction, with meticulous attention to detail in curating spaces that facilitate physical, visual, and auditory exchanges, weaving a tapestry of relationships within and beyond the community.
Throughout the design process, inclusivity and accessibility are central considerations, with dimensions, access points, and the unique needs of residents, especially seniors, carefully addressed to cater to diverse demographics.
Thoughtful decisions such as leveling areas and reconfiguring entrances have been made to create an environment where transitions between communal gatherings and private retreats are seamless and inviting.
The project showcases how design can transform lives, creating spaces that resonate with the essence of community and belonging.
